Terms of Service & Content Policy

Broadsheet is a social press: members publish editorials, short stories, and comics to a live Catalog. Posts age out into the Archive, and the best of each week are celebrated in the Magazine. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The following content is not allowed anywhere on Broadsheet — in posts, comments, images, or profiles:

• Illegal content. Anything that breaks the law, including content that exploits or endangers minors, incites violence, or facilitates crime.
• Harassment. Targeted abuse, threats, doxxing, or sustained attacks on a person or group.
• Explicit or NSFW material. Sexual or graphically violent content is not permitted, except where a context is explicitly designated as allowing it. Uploaded images are screened automatically and flagged images are rejected.
• Spam and manipulation. Bulk or repetitive posting, automated engagement, and attempts to game the Catalog's ranking, rate limits, or engagement counters.

Posts and comments can be reported by any member. The editors (site administrators) review reports and may, at their discretion:

• remove a post from circulation (it is archived and marked as removed), or delete a comment;
• suspend an account — suspended members can read but cannot post, comment, or like;
• ban an account — banned members cannot sign in, and their live Catalog posts are archived.

Enforcement decisions are made at admin discretion. We aim to be fair and consistent, but these calls are final. Repeated abuse of the reporting or upload systems may itself be moderated.

You retain full ownership of everything you publish on Broadsheet. By posting, you grant Broadsheet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the site — including in the Catalog, Archive, and Magazine — for as long as it remains on the platform.

Archived posts are part of the site's permanent record. Removed posts are taken out of circulation but are not erased from the Archive's underlying storage.

You must provide a valid email address and agree to these terms to create an account. One person, one account; impersonation is not allowed. You are responsible for activity under your account.

These terms may change as Broadsheet grows. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
